Stockwise look at the performance of the likes of Altria, Auto Zone, Petsmart, Office Depot, Humana, Pulte or Countrwide this decade. Basically it is stuff not tied to that ponzi scheme actually did very well. Perhaps a repeat after the coastal housing bust where most everything else does well. After all tight credit and (or) much higher rates means entry level buyers are shut out of the American Dream in all of today's bubble markets..

My wife reminds me every now and then about her recommendation(which I ignored)) to buy DGX during the bubble, it not only has held up well, it went up by a lot!
