Yup! The only people who would actually want a government office position are those who expect to gain so much that it offsets all of the crap you have to take.

I think 99% of your standard politicians are ego driven and lusting for the power that may come with a particular office...

in the background is they know if they can a min of 8 years in they retire at full pay for life....

the common trait they all share is a lack of conscience sp and accountability......

Ethics have nothing to do with anything other than an upfront perception...

Just my opinion.....
