One of the stocks I was trying to buy as a January Effect pick was DVW. I found this one by doing a screen using MSN's tool, where I sought the lowest 12-month returns. DVW looked attractive because of its low stock price and institutional ownership of only 20%. Unfortunately DVW shot up tremendously today, and is no longer attractive as a buy. I'm working on getting fills for a half-dozen picks. I'll post them soon.
