As you said, ALAN closed at 0.59 on Dec.23 and yesterday it opened at 0.64 (not 0.62) and it traded at 0.61 several times (10.40AM; 11.18AM; 11.19AM; 11.49AM; 11.51AM; 11.58AM;) closing at 0.63

However, on Dec.23 the intraday H was 0.62 at 11.30AM and again in the afternoon one hour before the close.Since it traded below that level at 0.61 yesterday, I don't see any gap there.

It is the same as today's opening at 0.65 having a gap from yesterday's close of 0.63. Even if the stock's L isn't lower than 0.64, which is the intraday L so far, I don't think we can call that a "gap" either, since yesterday's H was 0.65 <g>

BTW, ALAN just closed today's "gap".<g> (Trading at 0.63)
