Why do you never begrudge them their money?" Hell yeah! That too. But you see what happens is they just point fingers at each other. Nothing gets resolved and the company goes under...wiping out all the shareholder value. Even then they have a hard time getting rid of the Union deadwood. A lot of the manufacturing goes offshore or the company just doesn't exist anymore. Ted, it's easy to give out the bennies and hell to take them back. With no controls on medical costs a lot of pensions are doomed. Those transit workers in NY were bitching about having to fund 6% of their own pensions for chrissake.
