RE:When was the last time an IED went off near your house? When one does, then we can talk about a war where your rights may need to be abbreviate or even abrogated

Shows what a great job Bush is doing since there are none going off over here.

Yeah, right.....this is a war. When was the last time an IED went off near your house? When one does, then we can talk about a war where your rights may need to be abbreviate or even abrogated.

Tell it to the folks who were in the towers on 9/11, tell it to those who served and suffered in Afghanistan and now Iraq.

Sorry...I lost my head for a moment and forgot what a freakin' moron you are.....

J.

The public believes Bush is stupid and incompetent. That's why his approval rating is at 43%.

Regarding this statement of JL's: "The enemy is merciless."

When was the *last* time we ever had a 'merciful' enemy???????

(Were the North Vietnamese 'merciful'? The Chinese and North Koreans during the Korean War? The Japanese or Nazis in WW II? Were the Soviets --- during our multi-decade 'Cold War' supposed to have been especially 'merciful'? Hell... were the Indians during the 'French and Indian War' reputedly 'merciful'?)

If so, these things sure escaped my observation....

Why is it, I wonder, that some people want to pretend that history never happened, and that 'this time everything is different'?
