CLinton did GREAT in former Yugoslavia. He and Wes Clark took out the dictator Milosovic without a single US casualty, and worked seamlessly with our allies, all the while the rightwing in congress were howling in protest (rightwingers protesting a war?) claiming any such attack would be a disaster. Even worse around that time, the rightwing was howling in protest that Clinton was spending too much time trying to kill Osama Bin Lauden, while they were trying to dominate the headlines with their sleazy (and mostly phony) sex scandal stories. They claimed Clinton was "wagging the dog" by attacking Osama. Just vas bad, the rightwing in congress were howling in protest that Clinton's tax hikes would destroy the economy and throw us into a depression. Instead, we had the greatest and most sustainable economy since 1960 which produced surpluses for as far as the eye could see and benefitted all classes of Americans equally.

Abramoff Scandal Could Take Down Rightwing Congress. Read this indepth article about how the rightwingers in congress really work. It's so-so sleazy. msnbc.msn.com BTW: Harry Reid took $50,000 fromi Abramoff, but unlike the GOP congressmen who took even more, he never lifted a finger to help in any of Abramoff's sleazy dealings. Abramoff is a 99% GOP problem and it's going to be very big, maybe bigger than Plamegate and Delaygate, but not as big as SpyGate which could take down Bush himself for intentionally breaking the law and spitting on the Constitution so he could illegally spy on domestic opponents.
