Boy, it's really painfully obvious now to see how you can lead yourself to such misguided assertions. One last time and lets take it slowly......

<<"it would be really wrong beating a sort of left-wing drum, taking the usual bleeding-heart-liberal line,” says Bono>>

Translation.......in order to achieve my goal of eradicating poverty and to further African debt relief I must become apolitical i.e. not beat my typical left wing drum. This is not an endorsement of Bush's "conservative politics" but rather a realization that by approaching the problem from an idealistic political aspect will not get the job done. Recent history has proved him right and this is a lesson we can all learn from.

Reread every quote you just posted.......not one of them is an endorsement of any Bush policy other than the aid that Bono pushed him into providing. Its called shmoozing and he makes it work. There's an old Irish saying that a true politician is one that can tell you to go f*** yourself and make you feel good about it. In your own words.....read, think, comprehend.

Just in case you missed it the first time......from a recent interview with one of your own heros Bill O'Reilly

"O'REILLY: So are you a non-partisan guy?

BONO: I'm a non-partisan guy.

O’REILLY: You don't root?

BONO: I don't root anymore. Yes, I’ve stopped rooting. I'm rooting for people that don't have a vote and for people whose faces we don't see.

Oh and by the way, the next time you feel the need to issue an "adult" lecture on hate and open discourse it might help if you don't use phrases like "you and your kind". Such statements render you argument a hollow contradiction in terms and makes you look inconsistent at best. It might also help your cause if you weren't one of the biggest mud-slingers on this forum.

And in the inimitable words of our favorite "conservative" humanitarian activist

"The less you know, the more you believe"

Peace out brother..........MON.
