<It's really that simple.> No Uncle -- that is where you are dead wrong. It is far from that simple. China is mobilizing literally hundreds of millions of increasingly prosperous, urban, educated people, and yes a large part of that is being financed by selling us stuff that we borrow money from them to buy. But what is going on in China is much deeper and more far reaching than simply selling us a bunch of cheap gadgets. To say that it is that simple is like saying that America was a great place to trap furs for Europeans, but other than that it was just a place to dump the surplus European underclass.

China's crash is going to be a lot more severe then ours with massive social upheaval to boot.

<When the US economy crashes, China crashes too> They need each other and are now firmly intertwined.. The only group that makes out well next downturn is the wealthy American no relying on debt, housing bubbles or excess capital investment in this recent economic expansion. China crashes and burns just like the US did in the 1930's. Buy assets on the cheap way below replacement cost after recession/depression. In US it took 18 years to really bottom. Today in China maybe it will only take 10..
