Chester did not get the mine going. He wanted a small 25k oz
operation to prove it out. And the big houses who were putting
in the cash would never have been able to sell sh based on a small starter mine.

So there was a disagreement and Mr Millar left and started
MGM.

And John McCluskey got the financing and built the mine with
excellent staff he brought on.

I don't know where the next stop is, all I know is that I want to have some high-quality up and coming producers in the PF for this next leg and I think Alamos fits the bill perfectly. One thing I have not been great at is taking profits along the way, so I took some off the table with Alamos to redeploy elsewhere. Plus the chart has a gaping hole in it (on the daily), but I suppose this will be the exception where the gap doesn't get filled. In any case, very comfortable holding AGI until they get acquired (which seems to be their likely fate). Cheers,

Paul
