Here are the things you don't get in Rochester: the mountains of Eastern NY, Vermont, NH, or Maine; proximity to the coast (although Lake Ontario can look like the ocean on some days); proximity to a mega-city (Toronto is about 3 hours away, but Rochester has a fair amount of arts and leisure for its size). I forgot to add that Rochester is home to the best grocery store chain in the country, bar none. WEGMANS! It's a spectacle to behold and should be the first thing you visit Rochester (now you know why its "cheap"). L2S
