It's location, location, location...


Kodak has been letting a lot of well paid engineers and executives in the film division go. That would account for a lot of nice houses on the market but the chance of these houses appreciating is slim.

Rochester is a great place to raise a family. I'm sincere about that. Their schools are some of the finest.

Kodak laying off people doesn't seem to have much to do w/ the affordability. According to the NYT article , affordability hasn't changed much over the last 20 years in Rochacha. Too many people are afraid of cold weather. That, and the large number of McMannis' are the deterrents.
