"I'm gonna have me a 100K kitchen for $15K some day."

That's the funniest thing I've come across all day! Thanks.

By the way, I'll take those fixtures off your hands for 50 cents on the dollar when you can't afford storage anymore. The half million dollar house I just purchased at 25% below fair market value could use the upgrades.

Hint: You can't upgrade a property if you don't own a property! LOL!!!

My former Congressman Porter Goss, now chief spook for the CIA, has his Sanibel home on the market for $18.9 million. 17 million is undoubtedly for the beach, 1.9 for the home. Perhaps you can upgrade that kitchen. It really isn't much.
Former senator Connie Mack is also selling his Sanibel or Captiva home, I believe.

I hope you are handy as those bargain appliances will not be under warranty and the Miele is crap and the Traulsen is a fabulous invalid. Like the glass doors but you need to be Martha Stewart and stage your food in it. Cartons are tacky...you'll have to decant your milk. (G)

I know someone who lost their property, not just their home, during Hurricane Charley. The 'cane cut a new channel through the remote, exclusive island of North Captiva eliminating their property over night. Don't think you can insure the land from disaster.

I am happy to be able to take a short drive across the causeway to Sanibel to walk that quiet shell beach but no longer want to live there. MP
