I've got this friend, he's a VERY wealthy corporate attorney, single, childless. He's the guy the tobacco companies hire to defend them, or the manufacturer that gets sued - he makes HUGE bucks. He has a huge house and three expensive cars. He's into video equipment, and has a home theatre system with a giant plasma screen. He has a closet as big as my bedroom where all his obsolete video equipment is dumped, probably 100k worth. As soon as some newer, cooler piece of video gear comes out, he buys it and the old bit goes into the closet. Whenever I go to his place an visit, I understand the allure of communism.
