The premium has never been 5% It seldom gets above .14%.

Yes, I do track it. Anyone can as the streettracksgoldshares.com site provides not only monthly history but archives for all history since the start of this ETF.

The premium discount "issue" has been covered in my previous post.

How to benefit from understanding what it is and how it triggers deliveries of gold into the GLD ETF is something else. And at this point I remain unsure of how to use or benefit by what I do understand.
