I'm very confidant and not scared at all. The eavesdropping was a good thing and not illegal. Iyman Faris was convicted on such eavesdropping - he pled guilty to conspiring with AQ to bring down the Brooklyn Bridge. Do you think he should be released because you think the evidence of his guilt was illegal? I think you do because you lefties don't care about defending the country. Alito will be confirmed and that will be nudge the SC to the right for a couple decades or so. We already have a new youngish chief justice - he'll be there for decades. And there will be more SC nominees for Bush to fill. And in 2006, I am confidant Dems will lose more seats in the House and Senate. Happy New Year to everybody - won't be back to SI for a few days after today.
