I do not offer myself as the world's expert on China even if I am there often and cover north to south and spend time with the people who are actually running the place -- but I laugh loud and hard at people who think they have it figured out when they have never even seen it once with their own eyes -- that is a real hoot. The problem is that there is not a single person on this board that has ever proclaimed to "have it all figured out". Your nature is to put up strawmen that simply do not exist and then attack them. You assume you know what people think or know but you do not. Since this this bickering will get nowhere, I now humbly bow in the presence of your vast superior knowledge on China. Mish
