I'm not convinced that it's possible for anyone to
be truly "centrist".

What exactly does that mean?

I suspect that most people tilt one way or the
other depending on the particular issue under
consideration. The term "moderate" is probably
a more apt description since it suggests a
person who is not a die-hard idealogue from
either end of the spectrum.

In the end, a claim to be a centrist is
one of those nuances we keep hearing
about, which are designed to avoid really
advocating any particular position at all.

But then again, I could be wrong.
It all depends on the reaction to my observations<g>

I do not use childish techniques to try to ridicule others by changing their name. You would be well advised to demonstrate more maturity in the future.

Perhaps you resent being banned by Dale. Perhaps you resent having your status as being far left of mainstream demonstrated. Whatever your problem is, get over it and grow up.

For starters, his name is Dierks, not "Diersky". Secondly, if you AREN'T right of center, you are going to jave a tough life on this thread. If that's the case, I'd suggest you find another playground because this crowd is going to beat you up.

Looking at your bans,

and who banned you, I would say the left considers you right. Let's see, banned by X (a wild-eyed crazy leftist), Dale Baker (her puppy dog), Mephisto (if she hasn'r joined the Communist Party, she should), YlangYlangBreeze (a rather foul-mouthed leftist when she was here), Thomas M. (Huh? There's a question here?), Poet (HEY! She STARTED the Left Wing Porch, ferchrissakes!), and August West (doesn't count; he started the thread just to ban people who dared post there), it would appear the Left considers you a rightist. OTOH, I notice you are NOT banned from PGWB, RWET, or any of the other right hang-outs.

So what's your plan now? Get banned by everyone?
