My latest post was meant for the real estate board, not here, my error. And last year, I admit that I bought into the doom and gloom propaganda, and used the "bubble" word. I was bombarded for so long by the media, it had me brainwashed. The rise in fuel prices was successful in putting the foot on the brake pedal as far as spending by everyone. Also, the dollar did strengthen helping slow foreign investment. As far as Japan, I don't know how close a comparison they are with the US. The US economy has always survived when everyone had us buried for dead. As always, time will tell.
