I don't think there is a system that can work for every conditions at all time. It is clear that the spiral trading system works very well in a big wave market. And it has difficulty to deal with 10-20 points waves. That is perfectly fine. There is no need to make any adjustment to fit small waves. The key is that nobody knows ahead it is going to be a big wave or small wave, so you have to follow it.
