Saturn Bar is one of the few places I haven't patronized, though I of course knew about it. I don't go to bars anymore. When I did I enjoyed The Maple Leaf, Nick's (old man Castrogiovanni was a character, he promoted several of my college romances) and my all-time favorite, now open, the Napoleon House. For music, there was always Tipitina's, where I was blessed to see Prof. Longhair at least a dozen times. The Maple Leaf was no slouch for music, either. I saw James Booker and a number of other luminaries there. This is of course before NO music became a Big Thing/Big Business.
