I think so. We have some people in government now who have made it impossible to get ahything done for their constituants, they only operate off their own personal agenda and have been in office for far too long for anyones own good.

How about going somewhat further... Include total Federal government service in the limit; elective, civil and military combined. Some of those yahoos are getting 3 retirements plus social security. Plus they get to keep whatever they haven't spent from their campaign contributions war chest. The elected officeholders seem to get further and further from their constituent's needs and desires the longer they are in office.
