There are NO Americans that live and work abroad??? Are you really that shallow?? Yes, Americans get offered oversea positions in multi national companies like Elroy and take the job for a number of reasons which I am sure Elroy will share with you if you ask him. Most if not all intend to move back to the States at some point. Iraqis who live in the US like in Detroit are opening up corner stores selling hummus and kibbet to go; others are opening up automobile garages and other service shops. Their kids work in those shops with the expectation that they will take them over when they get older. They give every impression of staying. Do you see the difference.........or is this too shallow a post for you?
