The American electorate is going to be very angry when they realize that national security policy is being hijacked by unelected loose cannons with a political ax to grind.

And Bush's numbers just keep climbing.

Whatever happened to the "leaks happen everyday in Washington, we may never know who the leaker is" GWB. His tune changes when he's pretty sure it wasn't his admin. doing the leaking about his criminal activity. Think Bush is trying to frame the argument to remove focus from the real crime.
