Yes, I agree and have been trying to but it's hard for me, a "pagan intellectual", to assess just how powerful the Zionist movement and its components actually are? It's also hard to me believe, indeed accept, that fantasies of thousands of years ago are not only alive and well in this modern world but are the prime movers of major events.

I have to say, I find it difficult to believe that a few million Jewish Zionists/Israelis can muster up such enormous power. After all there are only 12 million Jews in the world and I'm sure half are not Zionists. That 6 million Jews have the kind of power we are talking about is simply incredible. And that these people could bring about a virtual coup in the US is even more amazing.

I know the Christian Zionists/reborns/evangelicals are big in the US and militant but are they strong enough to change the map of the world -- even with the Jewish Zionists?

However, I do believe the Islamic view is correct that there is a Crusade against them. In fact, Bush admitted it once when he made a slip of the tongue. But Islam, itself, is far from unified. There are many different groups and sects which appear to hate one another as much the Judeo-Christians hate Muslims, generally, and so far I'm not sure the "Crusade" against Islam has united them? Israeli oppression of the Palestinians hasn't. Certainly not enough to do anything.

I also think part of the problem in the West is that the Zionists are both militant and unopposed. I have noticed they use every conceivable tactic from bribery to blackmail to smear tactics to other forms of coercion to get their way. As for the non-Zionists, either they don't take the Zionists seriously, are deceived by false propaganda or simply don't want to get involved for fear of being labelled anti-Semites or worse. So they go with the flow.
