Russ, this is like shooting ducks in a barrel. When I was in the business, I believe that EVERY real estate transaction is in violation of something because there are so many laws and regulations government every obscure corner of the business. For example, here is a big one that I am certain every lender violates portions of: occ.treas.gov If everything goes up, no harm no foul. If defaults and foreclosures go up, all hell breaks loose, and lose too.
