M, When I went to China I noticed two things in particular..
1) @ 5'10.5' I was not exceptionally tall.
2) at the Great Wall where I have been twice... the Mongols I met were selling trinkets, or bactrian rides and were rather smallish... really not very intimidating at all...

I wasn't around to see Jesus Christ or Genghis Khan so I cannot personally testify if either was particularly good or bad...

How many Mongols have yopu met ? BTW isn't Jay Hakka ? :o)

regards
Kastel

BTW even though my family is Wong the old folks speak Toysan...

can't judge past issues under today's moral standards. Pizzaro and Cortez did what was necessary and acceptable under the moral standards of the time. Same for the British, Attila, The Hun, the Portuguese and so on.

At a time where divine right was the rule, it would be very dangerous to say you were son of God. Jesus Christ said that. He was met with a normal reaction given the moral standards of that time.

Today we have different moral standards. To do any looting and killing you need a coalition and sanctioned by a U.N. I hope this ends the argumentation about past bad people. In the past there was no time and money for those niceties.
