The Kurds are not our problem. The Bushies keep talking about the Kurds doing fine. Because they're the only ones in Iraq doing fine besides Halliburton.

Sure because they're an autonomous region and they have their own oil money. It's the Sunnis and Shias we have to worry about, or 90% of the country. However, the Kurds and Turks may someday tussle.

BTW: When Saddam gassed the Kurds in the 80's, the Reagan administration said absolutely nothing, offering tacit approval. Since Rumsfeld was Ronnie's arms merchant to Saddam then, maybe we even sold him the gas. The US has more WMD than the rest of the world combined. And rightwingers like to sell our arms. Like to Iran, Iraq and Pakistan.
