The small specs are short, but the commercials had a massive long of 292,853 on Oct.25 that they have completely liquidated. In fact they are net short 3,586, which is almost unheard of in this contract. futuresemail.com By the way in the backdrop of today's Humpty Dumpty market, I do not consider large specs to be superior "intelligence" or smart money over small specs. Sometimes one needs to apply some context to the situation. BTW the three month Bill (and Libor) increased 9 bps today. The 6 month looks to go off at a new high for the move at next week's auction as well. bloomberg.com
