the river is frozen as thick as tofu in january.

they are packing the core out to Circle City where the dog teams are waiting. no dog trail to where they are. snow is deep and they can only make 3 miles a day in the blizzards which are pretty heavy they tell me.

results should be in by spring when the core will arrive in seattle.
