If this were really a foreign policy thread and/or if it wasnt New Years eve, this story would be worthy of much discussion. A couple of starter questions for the thread below. Anyone have

1. Can we separate out are views on iraq and iran. For instance can one have supported the former without supporting the latter and visa versa.
2. What is the true european view on such a strike?
3. Could/would a strike of this type lead to an iranian/shiaa world wide terror outbreak.
4. How would the nationalist/student/reform movement view this?--- A blessing which leads to the overthrow of the new president and possibly the mullahs or a nationalist reaction against the attacker(s).
5. Would Israel be participating in this attack in some fashion and if so what.
6. How important is it to remove nukes from iran and if viewed as important how imminent is their nuke force?
7. If the US doesnt act, how does a nuke iran affect policy going forward.
