Litter boxes are cleaned by a cleaning service that comes three times a week, so I only have to clean them two days. That I can do, but cooking is another matter now that I have not cooked for so long. My husband still laments that if he wants to hide something from me, he puts it in the oven.....little does he realize that I open the oven to see if it has been cleaned properly by the girls that come to clean. Won't tell him that for sure....might actually find something in there some day, so far haven't. Just hope it is green stuff, like money. Reminds me of a story about my FIL, he used to go fishing a lot and one day my MIL decided to help him and brush out his floor mats. When she raised up the driver's mat, she found a one hundred dollar bill. She took it and didn't say a word to him and watched him search all over the front seat for that bill for weeks. He never mentioned it to her and she never told him she took it. It became a family joke and we never told him either. She told us he deserved what he got for hiding it from her. Still makes me chuckle when I think about it. He must have thought one of his fishing buddies had found it and took it and to my knowledge never did find out she took it. He never did that again as she began to check it frequently. We thought what a way to teach someone a lesson about hiding money from their mate. She saved it for years so if he had ever admitted it she would have given it back. And I guess he never suspected it was she that took it. He just never mentioned it to any of the family, she told us about it and laughed heartedly with all of us. I found that bill among her belongings with a message to him attached. Sadly, he died before she did and she must have forgotten to remove it and spend it or thought the children should have it. She was a great lady of her time.
