I wish you were my neighbor too!! My kids love cats as well. they love to spend time with animals period!

What a great memory! I used to have a habit of hiding money but my husband knew about it. When he was first hired on as a pilot, he was gone a lot and for extended periods of time. He didn't want me to be caught without cash in case something came up. Depending on how long he was going to be gone for, he would either give me fifty or a hundred dollars. I would take it and wrap it up in the pork in the freezer. Problem was, I'd forget about doing that. one day, he got out some ribs from the freezer. He unwrapped them and was surprised to see a hundred dollar bill come floating out. He asked me about it and I reminded him it was from a trip he'd taken recently. He started unwrapping more meat and found well over five hundred dollars. You're got to keep in mind this was 30 years ago and money was tight. He suddenly went pale and said please tell me you've been spending this money all this time. I said no because I had forgotten it was in there. He sat down and said, PatiBob, do you remember me cleaning out the freezer not too long ago? I said yes, I really appreciated it. He said, well I'm sure you did but not as much as the people at the dump will. I don't think there was much money we threw out but it made me change my ways right then and there. We really couldn't afford to throw out a nickle let alone a couple of hundred dollars.

Wouldn't we have a great neighborhood if we all lived on the same Cul de Sac?

Carolyn Amy and I always said we were going to the same nursing home...we could have wheel chair races..
