No DVB-T in the US.

We use a different system - ATSC. I'm waiting and waiting for HDTV computer peripherals to appear. We've had HD for either 2 or 3 years and have not watched analog TV since the very first week (family refuses to watch analog!).

The industry is so slow getting on with hi-def. I'm amazed that everyone isn't dumping analog as fast as they can. Last night watched a Tina Turner concert and the sound was just great - though not Dolby D. Where are all those audiophiles that would pay $$$$ for some minor thing that most people couldn't hear? Now we have 5+1 channel sound and I did it for pratically nothing, but everyone seems stuck with old TVs.

Major part of the problem is that the industry equated flat panel TVs with hi-def. Nothing to do with eachother. We have a CRT (a Zenith) hi-def TV with integral tuner and the picture is, well, picture-perfect. Not bad for $899.
