We don't need The Hague to convict our own crooked political leaders. We just need the truth to come out. Then the people will chuck them out. We have laws, courts, a free press and checks and balances in this country. Our founding fathers set it up that way. The system's been damaged under Bushies, but is recovering now. The only way Bushies can stay out of prison and in power now is to succeed at declaring a sort of legal martial law, claim they're "at war" and that they are therefore above the laws. They are trying hard to do this and pitching these heinous defenses to their rightwing base, most of whom are happy to throw away the Constitution so long as they can continue to purge this country of democracy and accountability with one-party rightwing rule. But it won't work. Fortunately, there are more honest Americans than dishonest ones. The people are mainly fed up with these liars and cheats. In fact, over 50% now want Bush impeached.
