The impression I get, though, is that a lot of people such as you do not see a threshold. I didn't commit on this until I read the details that were released. Basically, the only people in America getting caught up in direct wiretapping are those that have possible bad guys on the other line. This "domestic spying" attack is totally partisan. We are dealing with transnational bad boys. Who have killed thousands of us, and want to kill even more. You can't get at them with the old-fashioned tools. Data mining is going to have to be used. I draw the line when this information is used for non-terrorist crimes.
