Liberals have been right on the issues, actually. Not old-style extinct liberals, but modern-day honest, strong, well-rounded common sense progressives who represent more Americans now than the rightwing. Liberal is an outdated word, though rightwing is now accurate (sadly). Progressive is more accurate. because sometimes liberals are not liberal. For instance, we were for blowing up Osama at Tora Bora. Bush wasn't. He called a retreat. Maybe progressives are not as rich and drunk off corporate lobbyist money, but they are now 100% dedicated, brave, patriotic and also have the truth on their side. In fact, they are much more Christ-like than the rightwing. The problem with the right is they no longer can claim to have any morals or ethics. They're just trying to cheerlead and buy votes. or rather, buy defence attorneys. gg
