2006 will be the year of busted rightwing Bushies.

-Abramoff-Delay and dozens of other cronies
-Cunningham then all the other rightwing bribe-takers
-DElay in Texas and his crooked foundation paying off dozens more rightwing congressmen
- Plamegate taking out half the White House, starting with Libby and Rove, maybe ending with Cheney.
- Frist looks guilty of massive insider trading relating to the corporate welfare Medicare bill Frist championed.

Then there's this domestic spying business. Not a singole excuse Bush and Rice have made holds up to any scrutiny. And they were probably spying not on Al Qaida but on US, that is US citizens who happen to disagree with the rush to war in Iraq.

So who's left? And what if it can be proven that Diebold cooperated in helping Bush steal 2004? Or that the energy gouging is proven to be what is it, part of Bush-Cheney's overall strategy to ream us for their own gain?

Time for the GOP to dump Bushies and get behind McCain to replace Bush in 2007 a la Gerald Ford, then run against Warner or Kerry. That way, the country wins, the GOP shows it has ethics and our democracy is safe from rightwing extremist dictator wannabes.
