Another rate boost would not surprise me.

(Might shock the daylights out of the carry trade).

Speaking of which, the derivative crowd....carry trade....must figure in this. If I recall correctly, the big players like LTCM (may it rest in peace) made their money by selling the short paper and buying the long paper.

Not so, or do I have the right scenario? This would help to narrow the yields and also would be a typical holiday play to improve numbers at the end of the year would it not?
