My own feeling is that the extremes of the housing bubble are fueled much more by the Greenspan / Bush lowering of interest rates to the lowest levels in fifty years coupled with flaky mortgage products that allow anyone breathing to buy a house than by the Clinton tax breaks. Flippers aren't LIVING in the ten houses they've bought, and thus don't GET the break. Jim ignores this, over and over, since the chimp can do no wrong..
