I think CGR has less of a 'discount' to the deal price because it trades on the OTC:BB and thus has better USA liquidity. I doubt most 'full service' brokers allow their clients to trade the Pinkies. Either that or the market is just relieved that CGR will be bought out!

None-the-less, I don't get why everyone is screaming about the big discount. Seems like a gift.

CAT.v sell off is likely a result of 'sell the news.' The 'bull boards' have been giddy about the release of news on two holes. Then again perhaps the results are disappointing.

Tell me about buying Canuk stocks thru IB. I have that option, but noted there is some interesting tax consequence? Only heard about it peripherally, but started reading the DEZ/AUY Proxy circular and that brought the issue to the forefront. Apparently there are taxes on dividends that CA takes. Are there CA taxes deducted on Cap Gains as well?
