Well, karen, unless you or anyone here has "Eyes Only" clearance, we won't know.

That's not the case. It is possible to make a determination on this without that access, as I've been trying to explain. It's simple logic. All you need to do is read the Times article looking for the "cat." The cats that are still in the bag are the ones for which you need clearance. Those don't matter for our purposes. It's the cat that is out of the bag that is salient.

I may be misunderstanding the whole question-- but if it's an Eyes Only issue, and we, the readers, haven't gotten much information from the NYT revelations, then what is it the terrorists got that we didn't? Surely the idea of wiretapping isn't a surprise, and whether we are doing it with or without warrants doesn't affect them, does it? I guess I am wondering the same thing Karen is-- what is it exactly that was revealed that was so helpful, what specific harm was done? (Other than causing more partisan, internal disagreements which they probably enjoy watching).

Mostly the answers have been emotional and based on principal rather than actual damage-Karen's Cats.
