Yep. My daughter told her boyfriend that Dell was one of the worst companies to buy a computer from. Dell in the back room. WTF, his money, new computer.

I've *NEVER* lost money selling Dell short. I may try it again soon. I think their business model is, temporarily, screwed.

Re:On the specific question of service - if DELL's is so bad, why would an AMD shareholder want DELL to offer AMD?

LOL!! 'Cause it would validate fully the notion that Dell's hearts and minds are following and that Intel has lost it's grip.

rupert1 - I'm not convinced that Dell carrying AMD would necessarily be such a wonderful thing for AMD; I think they can do better with Dell's opponents.
My argument was more how I would pursue things in Dell's shoes to best serve the customer.
