I will say this one more thing, karen. If you want to know the kinds of things that maybe terrorists (and yes, even you/we) can learn by a wiretap program from AQ to the US, and an event that might have been prevented had we had such a program in place on and before 9-10.... Just go to NYC and check out the area where the Twin Towers were....Imagine one, then two, then five, fifteen, fifty, one hundred bodies and more, jumping to the ground because the fires were such horrors.... Imagine what it was like inside the buildings before they fell, housing thousands of people in them, that were trapped by temperature and flames, so they burned to death or were burned and then crushed to death as the buildings fell. Then try to figure out how the wantabe terrorists/murdering barbarians would benefit from knowing exactly how we are monitoring them....and those who would befriend them. See Powerline today, and see the comments of Schumer and McConnell from yesterday's interview discussion with FOX's Chris Wallace.... EVEN wildly partisan Schumer backed off to a degree....
