Cordex name, files, misc., etc. were purchased for cash from Glamis by Livermore and Wallace three years ago. Did not mean to cause you trouble and lengthy searches. If you check with the NV Sec. State office you will find Cordilleran Exploration Co., LLC, is a registered LLC. Cordex Exploration Co. is a registered dba of Cordilleran in most counties in Nevada. There is also an inactive corporation named Cordex Exploration Co., Inc., which is also owned by Livermore and Wallace.

Cordex had a deal with Metallic Ventures (MVG.to) in 2004.

Exploration and Acquisition Programs

MVG will continue to fund 100% of the grass roots exploration programs of Cordex during 2004, and evaluate interesting acquisitions that can add value to the company. Cordex will be drilling at least 3 targets in Nevada during the year while continuing to add to their portfolio of new targets by applying concept oriented, experience driven exploration techniques. John Livermore and Andy Wallace, the principals of Cordex since it's conception during the 1970s, have been responsible for the discovery of several world class gold ore deposits in Nevada including the original Carlin discovery.

Maybe Columbus is their latest grubstake.

Livermore and Wallace have been around since Nevada really was the 'Silver State' and nobody thought there was enough gold to be worth looking for there.
