Bush failed to stop 9-11 after 8-6-01 warnings and had Osama and Zawahiri trapped at Tora Bora and allowed him to escape. He is also longtime cronies with the Bin Lauden family and powerful Saudis, some of whom support terrorism. Democrats are much more supportive of killing actual terrorists. When it coems to terrorism we are mega-hawks, but smart ones. In other words, we don't give away our Bill Of Rights, lie, cheat and abuse allies in order to operate above the laws. We do it the way it needs to be done, pin-pointing the problems and going after them. Kerry's super-smart counter-terrorism methods would have been much more effective in destroying Al Qaida. Bush has failed to stop Al Qaida. Bush instead invested 90% of our military in Iraq where we are bogged down and weakened, our troops terrorist targets and many more average Arabs turning to terrorism in anger. Bush has made our military weaker. Much weaker. We don't have the resources anymore to nail Al Qaida becuse they're tied-up in Iraq. Bush also was domestically spying not on Al Qaida, but on liberal groups, anti-war critics, vegetarians, quakers, and maybe even mainstream political opponents like Kerry. Though the evidence is only piecemeal now to prove the latter, that's why the senate demands an investigation. They want to see who was spied on and why Bush felt it necessasry to break the law to do it. One thing we know, Bush broke and law and lied about it.
