There where two F2 tornados that hit near my house but fortunately they mostly damaged the park behind my house. Really ripped up some sections, tearing trees in half and so forth, but the damage to the houses near me was limited to lost fences and some minor roof damage. The damage to my house was limited to lamp post that was taken out by the tree (that would have totaled my car if I had parked at home).

My roommate saw it fairly close right outside her window but I don't think she realized what it was until it was gone.

Her cat was going crazy long before there was any sign of a tornado coming. Maybe he picked up on a pressure drop or something but he apparently knew something was wrong.

He was running in and out of this little cat tunnel thing ( geocities.com ), twisting it around himself and generally acting very agitated according to my roommate.
