Bush's illegal spying is his problem and no one else's. Quit trying to turn it into a battle of DEms vs. Repubs. It's not. In fact the top three Repub experts on the senate all want Bush investigated.

Also, if you're concerneed about this leak why not be concerned about who leaked Plame's name, a covert CIA agent on WMD during a war having to do with WMD intel? Can't have it both ways.

But don't expect the Ny Times to hand the name over without another fight. Nor should they because this is Bush's problem, and Bush-Cheney already screwed over the Ny Times feeding them their WMD lies through Judith Miller.

Anyway, soon Bush himself will be getting investigated in the Senate, by Republicans and DEms. Both are mad as hell about Bush thwarting their Constitutions power of overright and checks and balances. Bush is not well-liked in the senate anymore except by George Allen type cronies or flunkie yes-men like Saxby Chambliss.

The source was likely someone in Homeland Security who that intel was shared with. We learned yesterdsay that the NSA shared it with HS. There are thousands of career civil servants in all the different branches who are appalled at the dishonesty and arrogance of this administration. So expect more whistleblowers like the Wilsons who care more about their country than party affiliation.

Remember too, it was career CIA officials who called for the special prosecutor in Plamegate, not democrats. You have wishful fantasies that Bush's illegal spying scandal is going to hurt democrats, or even involve them deeply. This is Bush's problem 100%, not a partisan battle and it may get him impeached.

The RNC may be trying to draw in democrats so they can turn this into a partisan battle and once again trick and fool their base. But these tricks work less and less and less well.
In other words, nice try BS artist.

Actually it's Condi Rice's problem too. Correction. She got on national TV and openly lied about the spying program. That may take her down along with GW. And it's about time. Condi deserves no credit for her time in office. She wass the worst national security advisor since Pearl Harbor.

Why should anyone that leaked info that the government was spying on Americans without court approval, be sent to jail?

I mean, we are still in America, aren't we? Or are we in Saddam's Iraq? Or Stalin's Soviet Union?
