That's determined by the type of corn and how much it was damaged during harvest. Most corn is grade two.

Corn has to be dried to 18% or less water before storing or it will mold. If you deliver corn that is say 21% the elevator will dock you a few cents per bushel for drying. You also get docked for cracked kernels or too much chaff.
