Actually, I was trying to use our involvement in Iraq to draw a comparison with our history. If Europeans had been egalitarian like President Bush is, instead of entrepreneurial like his detractors imagine he is, our history would be very different.

When cultures clash, the inferior and/or primitive ones lose. It's Manifest Destiny. The concept gets trashed today in the fashionable anti-American intellectual environment. But it never seems to get debunked...
